Positioned at the 4 o’clock mark, the GMT crown rotates, smoothly clicking into place at every hour interval. Integrated with the bezel’s configuration, a practical day/night indicator provides for perfect punctuality while travelling.

The centrepiece of the new Leica ZM 2 Urban Green is its unique, hand-mounted Leica LH-02 calibre featuring the innovative, patented push-crown – a significant milestone in horology. A domed sapphire crystal – reminiscent of a Leica lens – and a transparent sapphire case back reveal the watch’s inner workings, showcasing precision and craftsmanship down to the smallest detail.
Rooted in Time, Bound to Leica’s Legacy
The patented push-crown is inspired by the Leica camera shutter release button, combining Leica tradition with innovative timekeeping by means of craftsmanship. The power reserve indicator – consisting of two gradually converging blades – echoes the design of a camera shutter that opens and closes according to the exposure time. This unique design element pays homage to the first cameras, exemplifying how natural beauty arises from functionality.
