About September Bottoms
September Dawn Bottoms (she was, in fact, born on a September dawn) is a self-taught photographer from Oklahoma. She focuses on women’s and social issues, and endeavors to explore her family through photography to better understand the effects of intergenerational trauma. Clients include TIME, The New York Times Magazine, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The Atlantic, ESPN, CNN, Bloomberg Businessweek Magazine, NPR, & The Guardian, among others.
