How to place a repair order
By post or courier
Send your Leica product together with:
- Your full name, address, phone number and email
- A description of the fault with as much detail as possible
- Your completed repair form or reference number (if available)
- A copy of your purchase invoice (for warranty claims)
Please remove all unrelated accessories (straps, batteries, lenses, filters, boxes, memory cards, etc.). Leica cannot accept or store these items and cannot guarantee their return.
In person
You can drop your repair off at:
- Leica Store Mayfair — no appointment required.
- Leica Customer Care Soho — by appointment only to ensure technician availability.

Our factory-trained technicians will dust off your Camera with state-of-the-art technology, so you can enjoy spotless digital photography again.
Spare parts
Our Customer Care team also keeps a wide selection of spare parts for your Leica equipment. These include caps for binoculars, parts from older camera models and other items not in our retail range.

Repair service for Leica Sport Optics products
The Leica Camera AG factory in Portugal was established in 1972 and employs a workforce of highly-skilled and experienced personnel. In future, we intend to draw more on their outstanding expertise and knowledge to the benefit of our Leica Sport Optics customers, and have therefore decided to merge the service centres in Portugal and Wetzlar. In this way, we make it possible to offer you an exceptional level of first-class service from one single source.
Latest information concerning the repair capacity for camera models Leica M9 / M9-P / M9 Monochrom / M-E
The production of the CCD sensors for the Leica M9 models has been discontinued. Therefore, subsequent deliveries are no longer possible and defective sensors cannot be replaced. Until further notice, all other repairs on the M9 model generation can still be carried out.
In place of the sensor exchange we are offering new attractive conditions to our customers to trade in their camera with a defective sensor and purchase a current Leica camera model.

Repairs in the EU
If your repair needs to be carried out in our European repair centres, we are now required to send a commercial invoice for customs clearance and duties. Due to these added processes the turnaround times for EU repairs have increased by 2-3 weeks.
