Stopping Time
Time passes ceaselessly. Nothing can stop it. However, photography can frame time, capturing fleeting moments forever. Italian photographer Stefano Guindani caught a few of these with his Leica SL3-S behind the scenes at Milan Fashion Week. About Stefano Guindani
Stefano Guindani’s fascination with photography started at a young age. He began by taking pictures at theatres and established himself as a fashion, backstage and celebrity photographer in the years that followed. He formed the agency SGP (Stefano Guindani Photo), which offers bespoke photographic services to the fashion and luxury goods sector, in 1998. Guindani has also pursued his interest in social reportage during his extensive travels. He was the first photographer to host a photography talent show on television, has published numerous books and has successfully exhibited his work internationally. Today, the renowned lifestyle-reportage and high-fashion photographer is an ambassador for various luxury brands.
Timeless Elegance
At Milan Fashion Week, the luxury fashion label Corneliani presented its current autumn/winter collection under the motto “Get Closer”. Guindani accepted an invitation to take part and snapped pictures of the timelessly elegant fashion backstage, focussing above all on the fleeting moments unfolding away from the limelight. Unique moments, which would have gone unnoticed without him, are now destined to stand the test of time in his pictures.
