Long-Range Shooting Seminar in Ulm

On 2 October 2026, the Leica Hunting Experience will host a special long-range shooting seminar exclusively for women. Together with Sophia (@mrs_artemis) and Elisa (@_huntersister), we will combine technical expertise with practical hunting applications at MSZU Ulm.
The seminar is designed to make complex ballistic principles easy to understand and to put that knowledge into practice directly on the shooting range. In an open and supportive environment, participants can develop their skills, ask questions freely and connect with fellow female hunters. The focus is on handling their own equipment safely and confidently, making informed decisions and learning together on an equal footing.

The 300-metre shooting range at MSZU Ulm provides ideal conditions for a challenging, hands-on long-range shooting seminar. The facility enables controlled training under reproducible conditions, providing the foundation for precise analysis, consistent shot groups and informed decision-making.
Seminar content
During the long-range shooting seminar in Ulm, participants will learn the theoretical and practical fundamentals of safe and accurate shooting at distances of up to 300 metres. The seminar covers:
- An introduction to the fundamentals of external ballistics
- Zeroing and checking participants’ own rifles at 100 metres
- Measuring muzzle velocity (V0)
- Using the Leica Ballistics App and ballistic data in conjunction with Leica Geovid rangefinding binoculars
- Practical shooting at distances of up to 300 metres
Theory and practice are closely integrated, allowing participants to apply and understand what they have learned directly on the shooting range.
The event will be held in German.
With Sophia and Elisa
Sophia (@mrs_artemis) and Elisa (@_huntersister) will join participants throughout the long-range shooting seminar.
Alongside the technical training, the event places a strong emphasis on personal exchange among female hunters.
Their first-hand perspectives from the field will give the seminar a distinctive and personal setting, creating a Leica Hunting Experience that brings together shared learning, open exchange and a passion for hunting.

Participants will have the opportunity to test selected Leica products under realistic conditions, including:

The seminar is run by Leica Camera AG in cooperation with experienced hunting trip partners.
Conditions of participation:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Exclusively for women
- Valid hunting license
- Your own rifle and ammunition for approx. 60 to 100 shots (rental rifles are available upon request)
- Active hearing protection
- Installed Leica Hunting App
