Faces of Yangon began with one haunting image of a monk made by Steve Golden on a weekend trip to Yangon in 2015. The image inspired what would become a two-year project. Photographer Steve Golden travelled to Yangon frequently, exploring every street, seeking the heart of Asia’s last authentic city on the brink of explosive change.
