Streifzüge durch die Nacht

Egal ob Lichter, Schatten oder dunkle Gassen – Städte entwickeln bei Nacht eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre. Menschen sind auf dem Heimweg oder treiben gerade in die Nacht hinein. Ich liebe es, nachts unterwegs zu sein, gern mit einem passenden Song im Ohr. Ich fühle mich dann fast wie in einem Film. Jedes Bild wird vor meinem Auge mithilfe der Musik zu einer filmreifen Szene.
Ein Blick in meine Tasche
Was neben der Leica nicht fehlen darf, sind auf jeden Fall meine Airpods. Meist habe ich außerdem eine kleine Probe Parfüm dabei, weil mich Duft und Musik am meisten inspirieren. Und dann – je nach Wetter – Handcreme und eine Sonnenbrille.
Die Geschichte zum Bild
Moon lebt in Seoul und hat mich über Instagram gefragt, ob ich Lust hätte, ein paar Porträts von ihr zu machen. Wir sind abends ein wenig durch ihre Nachbarschaft gelaufen, bis wir an dieser Unterführung angekommen sind. Ich fand die Farben und den Kontrast zwischen Mensch und Bauwerk unglaublich interessant, die Biegung des Tunnels in Kombination mit Moons Bewegung gibt dem Ganzen eine Dynamik, die das Bild für mich zu einem Lieblingsbild werden lässt.
My style
I deliberately wander the streets at night and alone with the Leica. I like to be inspired by my surroundings. For me, it's an incentive to create something completely new in an already familiar spot. In general, I love to walk off in strange cities and just see what happens.
My camera
I can take the Q3 with me on any assignment without having to worry about it. The autofocus is spot on, the compactness of the camera is an incredible advantage, the new tiltable display makes me even more flexible, and the combination of sensor and the 1.7/28mm lens is almost unbeatable anyway.
My Leica feeling
The simple black design inspired me to move like a shadow through the night and capture the lights of the city. Whether lights, shadows or dark alleys - cities develop a very special atmosphere at night.
