Leica Gallery London is delighted to present, in collaboration with CROSSOVER Anke Degenhard, an exhibition by legendary photographer and film maker, Douglas Kirkland.

With a career spanning over six decades, his contributions to photography have earned him numerous awards including the President Award from the A.S.C. (American Society of Cinematographers) and the coveted Lucie Award for Outstanding Achievement. His work resides in the museum collections of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington D.C., the National Portrait Gallery in London, the Houston Center of Photography, the Annenberg Space for Photography in Los Angeles and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills.

The exhibition will include a selection of 17 works by the photographer – a distinctive mix between his revered portraits and more-quiet behind the scenes moments.
