Leica and Harrods are pleased to announce a new exhibition at Leica Store Harrods featuring a selection of Terry O’Neill’s legendary photographs. Collaborating with Iconic Images, the exhibition comprises of ten photographs spanning Terry O’Neill’s unique career - with colour and black and white works ranging from fashion and candid celebrity moments to capturing stars on set.
Terry O’Neill CBE was one of the world’s most collected photographers, with work hanging in national art galleries and private collections worldwide. From presidents to pop stars, he photographed the frontline of fame for over six decades.
No other photographer has embraced the span of fame - capturing the icons of our age from Winston Churchill to Nelson Mandela, Frank Sinatra and Elvis, to Amy Winehouse, Audrey Hepburn, Brigitte Bardot and Nicole Kidman, as well as every James Bond from Sean Connery to Daniel Craig.
Terry O’Neill had a strong connection to Leica having used various models throughout his career and subsequently collaborated on a ‘Terry O’Neill’ limited edition Leica MP camera set in 2018.
All prints in the exhibition are for sale with a starting price of £3,000 including VAT. The exhibition will take place from 8th of May 2022 at Leica Store, Harrods, 87-135 Brompton Road, London, SW1X 7XL.
