From June 28 to August 17, 2024, the Leica Gallery Frankfurt will showcase images of the Thai princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. The exhibition provides insight into the works of the princess, who has a special eye for candid moments. Her passion for storytelling through images is reflected in her travel shots, where she meticulously documents her diverse impressions. Particularly drawn to landscapes and special moments, her photographic style exudes a romantic essence. Skillfully weaving stories through the play of light and shadow.

H.R.H. Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya explains: "Photography has a tradition in our family, as my grandfather (H.M. King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great) was an avid photographer. I myself started studying photography in high school. But the one moment that ignited my passion for photography was a charity project for breast cancer patients in Thailand. I was able to do a photoshoot for this campaign, where I could work with many cameras I had never seen before. That's when I realized what I wanted to do."

Since her trip to Kenya in 2018, the Leica camera has become a faithful companion to the princess. With it, she captures the beauty of nature from her unique perspective. The exhibition at the Leica Gallery Frankfurt includes photographs of breathtaking travel destinations, including the timeless magic of Cairo and the Nile in Egypt, the enchanting city of Venice, and the picturesque landscapes of Thailand, including the diverse islands of Sampanbok and Ubon Ratchathani.

Furthermore, the exhibition presents her fashion photography, illustrating the influence of her travels on the collections of the SIRIVANNAVARI brand. Visitors are offered a glimpse into the representation of Her Royal Highness's creations through the art of photography.

Her photos always bear a distinctive signature and invite viewers to embark on a journey of imagination beyond the boundaries of the image. Infused with a warm and pleasant atmosphere, her work inspires a desire to explore distant worlds.

"During my photo journey in Kenya, I had the opportunity to test a Leica Q for the first time, and I was surprised by how versatile this camera is and how quickly I could achieve great results with it. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the nature shots. For the trip to Egypt, I had a whole range of cameras with me, including the Leica SL2 and the Leica M11. Here, it was important to me to choose a slightly more classic approach and capture the moment when the sunlight romantically illuminates the Nile," said Princess Sirivannavari.
