A century ago, the Leica I opened up a new way of seeing and changed photography forever. In 2025, we celebrated this anniversary worldwide. But the focus wasn’t just on the camera. It was and remains on those who capture the history of the world with Leica. Their curiosity, courage and feel for the right moment turn situations into stories and pictures into shared memories. We’d like to cap off this very special year by saying thank you. Thank you to everyone who observes, challenges and preserves what brings us together with Leica. What remains is more than a century of photography. It’s a vibrant community who are continuing what we started back then and sharing the world through pictures. With their powers of observation, tenacity, clarity and, above all, their humanity, they will help many more generations discover the true purpose of photography: to stay connected to the world.
