For the purchase and use of Leica Camera Gift Cards only the following general terms and conditions apply. Any contradicting terms and conditions shall not be applicable. Upon purchase respectively use of your Leica Camera Gift Card you declare acceptance of this Leica Camera Gift Card General Terms and Conditions.
PURCHASE OF LEICA CAMERA GIFT CARDS/BALANCE
Leica Camera Gift Cards may only be purchased at participating Leica Camera Stores and are only issued by Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH, Am Leitz-Park 5, 35578 Wetzlar. Participating Leica Camera Stores are listed under section “Using a Leica Camera Gift Card”.
Leica Camera Gift Cards are transferable. A sale of Leica Camera Gift Cards for commercial purposes is not permitted.
Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH remains owner of the Leica Camera Gift Cards until complete payment of the same.
The maximum amount that an individual Leica Camera Gift Card can hold is € 2,000. Interest will not be paid towards the balance.
You can perform a balance enquiry at any participating Leica Camera Store by taking your card to the till point. You can also perform balance enquiries online via the following website: https://wwws-uk2.givex.com/
VALIDITY
Your Leica Camera gift card is valid until the end of the 3rd year as of issuance (period starts with the end of the calendar year in which the relevant gift card has been issued). Thereafter, the card will become invalid and no longer available for use; any remaining balance will not be refunded.
LOST/ STOLEN/ DAMAGED
Please treat your Leica Camera Gift Card as if it was cash. Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH may not be held liable for lost, stolen, damaged or unpermitted used Leica Camera Gift Cards; and the balance of such will not be replaced or reimbursed, unless a default of Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH or the participating Leica Camera Stores or an employee of Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH or participating Leica Camera Stores exists.
The 4-digit PIN number on the back of your Leica Camera Gift Card has to maintained confidential at all times and may only be disclosed towards employees of Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH or participating Leica Camera Stores.
Should your Leica Camera Gift Card become damaged, Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH will be able to replace the card providing you still have the card in your possession and the necessary details (security details, value, date of issuance) can be obtained.
REFUSAL OF REDEMPTION/TERMINATION
Leica Camera Deutschland GmbH maintains the right to terminate this contract, to cancel the Leica Camera Gift Card or to refuse a transaction in case of a suspicion of a fraudulent, unpermitted or illegal use of the Leica Camera Gift Card or if a reasonable suspicion of a breach of a material obligation on your side exists. A remaining balance may only be reimbursed if no default on your side exists.
USING A LEICA CAMERA GIFT CARD
The value of your Leica Camera Gift Card can only be redeemed in the following Leica Camera Stores in Germany (“participating Leica Camera Stores”):
Leica Store Stuttgart, Calwer Str. 41, 70173, Stuttgart, Germany; Leica Store Dusseldorf, Königsallee 60, 40212 Dusseldorf, Germany and Leica Store Munich, Maffeistrasse Str. 4, 80333 Munich, Germany
Leica Camera Gift Cards cannot be used in any Leica Camera Partner stores or Department store counters unless expressly listed within these general terms and conditions.
The Leica Camera Gift Card balance cannot be exchanged for cash or redeemed against the purchase of another Leica Camera Gift Card.
You may redeem one or more Leica Camera Gift Cards per transaction.
If the value of a transaction made by using a Leica Camera Gift Card is lower than the value of the Leica Camera Gift Card, a new Leica Camera Gift Card with the remaining value will be issued.
CREDITING A LEICA CAMERA GIFT CARD
Should you return product(s) purchased using a Leica Camera Gift Card for an exchange of a lesser value, any refund amount due will be credited to the Leica Camera Gift Card. In the event that you may have discarded your Leica Camera Gift Card, a new Leica Camera Gift Card will be issued to you with the refund amount applied.
If a partial refund is made for any purchase using a Leica Camera Gift Card and another method of payment, then any refund amount owing will be credited to the Leica Camera Gift Card in the first instance.
If the total to be refunded is more than originally paid by Leica Camera Gift Card, then any remaining refund balance will be refunded to the other method of payment used (debit/credit card or cash) upon purchase.
These general terms and conditions have been drafted bilingual. For English-speaking customers only the English version shall be binding.
