Cieszymy się na pełen atrakcji i inspirujących momentów jubileuszowy rok. Z radością będziemy kontynuować pisanie historii legendy.
Grand Finale in Tokyo
Our worldwide celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the Leica I reached their finale in Tokyo – the city that welcomed the very first Leica Store in 2006. We celebrated the grand finale at the Spiral in Aoyama with a varied programme centred on rare archival pieces and an exclusive photographic exhibition, offering visitors a profound glimpse into a century of Leica’s history and photographic legacy.
Inspiring summer event in Shanghai
On 25 July, we continued our celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the Leica I in Shanghai. The impressive opening at the Shanghai Post Museum marked the start of a month-long event to celebrate photography in style – with exhibitions, a festival for Leica fans, and lectures and masterclasses by renowned Leica photographers.
Spektakularna uroczystość jubileuszowa w Wetzlar
Wetzlar – miejsce, z którego wywodzi się Leica I – po raz kolejny stało się centrum historii fotografii, aż 100 lat po przełomowym 1925 roku. Od 25 do 28 czerwca miasto to, jak i Leica Welt stały się scenerią dla wspaniałego wydarzenia. Liczne atrakcje, w tym wyjątkowe premiery produktów, doskonałe wystawy, porywające koncerty i 46. aukcja Leitz Photographica Auction z rzadkimi eksponatami, sprawiły, że nasze jubileuszowe obchody w Wetzlar były niezapomnianym wydarzeniem.
Event w Nowym Jorku
Miasto, w którym każda ulica ma swoją historię, stało się scenerią dla kontynuacji naszych spektakularnych obchodów 100-lecia Leica I w dniach od 1 do 3 maja 2025 roku. Pomiędzy Gansevoort Plaza a 13th Street, w samym sercu Manhattanu, zaprosiliśmy gości do tworzenia nowych, niezapomnianych historii dzięki wysokiej klasy wystawom, ekskluzywnym wydarzeniom i imponującej iluminacji na Time Square.
The Anniversary Event in Milan
The 63rd edition of Milan Design Week took place from 7 to 13 April 2025. It was the perfect stage for us to carry on celebrating the 100th anniversary of our historic Leica I. We honoured the iconic camera in Milan with installations, exhibitions and lectures, illustrating how our continuous design development has created a timeless aesthetic.

The Event in Madrid
To mark Leica’s centenary, the exhibition “Leica. Un siglo de fotografía” (Leica: A Century of Photography) officially opened on 9 September 2025 at the Fernán Gómez Cultural Centre in Madrid. The exhibition invites visitors to embark on a journey through 100 years of photographic history, starting from the revolutionary Leica I being launched in 1925 right through to the present day. The exhibition features 174 well-known works by photographers like Steve McCurry, Sebastião Salgado, Bruce Davidson, Elliott Erwitt and many more.
