Leica Gallery Frankfurt
Located directly in the city center and in the vicinity of the Goethe House, Leica opened its first flagship store in Germany in 2015.
Covering over 1,000 square meters, the store on the ground floor offers the complete range of Leica brand products (cameras, lenses, tripods, and optics, accessories), as well as second-hand cameras and lenses. Upstairs, you will find an impressive gallery space with regularly changing exhibitions by renowned photographers, a cozy literature area with photographic literature, and retreat options in the VIP room.
Current Exhibition: A chronicle in pictures. 10 years of Leica Frankfurt
To mark its 10th anniversary in their current premises, the Leica Gallery Frankfurt is dedicating an exhibition to its own history. Entitled "A Chronicle in Pictures. 10 Years of Leica Frankfurt", the exhibition features iconic photographs that have shaped the exhibition landscape over the past ten years. The show brings together works by internationally renowned photographers such as Elliott Erwitt, Thomas Hoepker, Werner Bischof, Walter Vogel, Martin Parr, Michael Friedel, Alex Webb, René Groebli, Franziska Stünkel, and many other artists. They not only document decisive moments in contemporary history, but also write photographic history themselves.
