Armed with this, you will be ready to take on any shooting scenario with the Leica SL-System, covering the entire focal range from 14 mm super wide angle to 200 mm super telephoto at a constant f/2.8 aperture.
Design Details
Twenty lens elements, of which three feature aspherical surfaces, distributed over fifteen groups ensure top imaging performance. All elements are manufactured using high-quality glass. Seven of these feature a low refractive index, particularly low dispersion and high anomalous partial dispersion. This results in razor-sharp images rich in contrast and with great tonal fidelity. The wide range of focal lengths is made possible by reliable internal focusing. As a result, the lens keeps its compact length across the entire zoom range.
