In Transit brings together the work of 65 photographers who have participated in Leica Akademie Australia's destination workshops.

Spanning six remarkable corners of the world — Vietnam, India, Germany, Portugal, Japan and Morocco — the workshops have taken photographers out of the familiar and into the unknown, challenging them to see with fresh eyes and an open heart.

Guided by some of Australia's most respected photographers, each workshop immerses participants in a destination's culture, landscape and daily rhythm, encouraging them to slow down, observe and connect meaningfully with their surroundings.

Each of the 65 participants is represented by a single photograph — images carefully selected from the beautiful hardback books that Leica Akademie Australia produces as a lasting record of every workshop. The resulting collection forms a rich and layered portrait of our world in motion: its people, its light, its quiet moments and charged encounters, speaking to the transformative power of travel when approached with intention and curiosity, and to the unique ability of photography to find stillness and meaning within the constant flow of human experience.
