With its 300-meter distance, the Alsfeld shooting range offers ideal conditions for demanding long-range shooting seminars. In all Leica Hunting Experience events, we combine technical expertise with practical hunting applications. We aim to help you understand complex concepts and implement them safely in the hunting grounds.

Contents of the Seminar
During the long-range shooting seminar in Alsfeld, participants learn the theoretical and practical fundamentals for safe and accurate shots at up to 300 meters. The topics include:
- Introduction to the fundamentals of external ballistics
- Zeroing and control of your own rifle at 100 m
- Measuring the muzzle velocity (V0)
- Using the Leica Ballistics App and ballistics values in conjunction with Leica Geovid rangefinders
- Practical shooting at distances up to 300 m
Theory and practice are directly linked – the presented content can be immediately implemented and understood at the shooting range.
The event will take place in German.

Participants have the opportunity to test selected Leica products under realistic conditions, including:
The devices are explained in a practical way and used in conjunction with different hunting scenarios.
Conditions of Participation & Data Privacy
The seminar is run by Leica Camera AG in cooperation with experienced hunting trip partners.
Conditions of participation:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid hunting license
- Your own rifle and ammunition for approx. 60 to 100 shots (rental rifles are available upon request)
- Active hearing protection
- Installed Leica Hunting App
The seminar fee includes:
