Our Store

The Leica Store Basel can be found in the heart of Basel’s old town, close to the town hall, with entrances via Marktgasse and Stadthausgasse. Spanning 140 m2, it combines historical architecture with modern, clean design, creating a light-filled space for photographic and creative dialogue.

The entire portfolio of current Leica products and a curated selection of certified pre-owned models can be found on two floors. A wide range of tripods, bags and other accessories for every photographic situation rounds out the offering. In addition, personalised advice and one-on-one product demonstrations offer you a hands-on brand experience. Workshops and training by Leica Akademie Switzerland are held regularly on the first floor. In this way, the store acts as a lively meeting place for photography aficionados and professionals from the region and around the world.

The Leica Store Basel offers a rental service. Cameras and lenses can be booked according to availability. The goods are often in the central warehouse in Nidau and not in the Leica Store Basel, therefore a booking must be made in advance.
