Anusch Mohadjer joins the company as Global Director Digital at Leica Camera AG

Leica Camera AG, Wetzlar, is expanding its digital competencies and services portfolio and has strengthened this division with the establishment of the new management function of Global Director Digital.                                                           

Anusch Mohadjer (44) will be assuming this position with effect from 2 March 2015 and will hold responsibility for the areas of digital marketing, which embraces all aspects of the company’s Internet presence, social media and customer relationship management and imaging services, with the high-quality premium service Leica Fotopark. He will report to Oliver Kaltner, the member of the board responsible for the areas of marketing, sales and retail at Leica Camera AG.

Anusch Mohadjer possesses many years of experience from earlier positions in the digital and classical marketing segment, where he gathered profound knowledge and expertise in both media and creative agencies and the industry side of the business. Most recently, Anusch Mohadjer held the position of COO at Universal McCann (UM) and was responsible for the successful transformation of the agency from a pure marketing agency to a specialist marketing agency with a strong focus on digital media. During this period, UM was able to win the accounts of prominent national and international customers – for example, Bridgestone, Frosta, DA direkt and American Airlines.

Prior to this, Anusch Mohadjer held key positions in product marketing at Microsoft Deutschland. In his function as head of Windows Live Business, he held responsibility for digital consumer services and played an instrumental role in the successful establishment and growth of Hotmail in Germany and the market launch of Onedrive (formerly ‘SkyDrive’). His most recent projects in this function included the coordination of the consumer-oriented launch of Windows 8. His professional career to date also includes leading functions in marketing in the entertainment industry, for example at Sega and Eidos.
