Whether you're a seasoned photographer or just beginning your street photography journey, you'll gain expert insights and practical experience on the very streets where Matt created some of his most iconic work.

Workshop Overview

Day 1 – Soho & Central London

Your journey begins at the Leica Akademie Soho, where Matt will share his work, philosophy, and the essential techniques that define his approach. After a comprehensive camera setup session, you'll hit the streets of Soho and Central London for an immersive afternoon of shooting, guided by Matt as he reveals how to find—and frame—the extraordinary within the everyday.

Day 2 – Columbia Road & East London

The second day begins with a visit to the vibrant Columbia Road Flower Market, a perfect setting for capturing colourful, candid moments. After a full day of shooting around East London, you'll return to the Leica Akademie for a behind-the-scenes look at Matt's editing workflow, followed by a collaborative image review and critique session.

• 3:30pm – 5:30pm: Editing Session & Image Review

What You'll Need

• A digital camera of your choice. Please note that a Leica camera is not required to attend; all cameras are welcome and encouraged.

• A laptop or tablet for editing on Sunday.

Note: Devices can be securely stored at the Akademie during Saturday and overnight. However, they cannot be dropped off on Sunday morning before the photo walk.
