The Leica Store Kyoto is located in the historic cultural district of Gion, occupying a newly renovated 100-year-old townhouse spanning 340 square metres. Traditional Japanese architecture merges with the Leica design philosophy to create a space where craftsmanship and modern image culture converge. The store’s interior design is inspired by Japanese aesthetics and showcases the full Leica portfolio. This includes exclusive accessories created in collaboration with local artisans.

Our gallery reveals new perspectives through temporary exhibitions featuring works by international photographers. Selected events, seminars and workshops are hosted in typical Kyoto fashion in the garden studio, the gallery on the second floor and the private salon.
