Alexvi with the Leica SL2
Chinese editorial photographer Alexvi is known for his personal photography projects. The series "Man in Box" originated from a photo Alexvi took by chance on a street corner back in 2012.
A security guard in a square booth was leaning against the window with a hint of curiosity in his eyes. Fascinated by the subtle visual relationship between people and space Alexvi started to pay attention to the same imagery in the city, capturing photos of people seemingly trapped in physical spaces with the Leica SL2.
Wherever people are, the boxes are there too.
A solid construction, the renowned Leica image quality and simple switching between dedicated photo- and video mode made it easy for Alexvi to choose the Leica SL-System for his work.
