| For how long can I test a Leica camera? Test Drives are available for up to 48 hours through participating Leica Stores and selected authorised dealers. Leica Store London Mayfair offers 2-hour Test Drives. |
| Which Leica SL cameras can I test? Selected Leica SL3-P, SL3-S and SL3 cameras are available for Test Drive, depending on availability at your chosen location. |
| Do you provide an L-Mount adapter? If you request an M-Lens and SL-Camera, we will provide an adapter with it. If you are only testing an M-Lens with your existing SL-Camera body, please let us know if you need an adapter and we will do our best to accommodate your request. |
| Will I be provided with a camera bag? We provide a dedicated camera bag that fits the system or camera you are borrowing, but you are also welcome to bring your own and test how the camera and lenses fit. |
| Do you provide adaptors for vintage lenses? This may be available in select stores upon request. |
| Can I test my own lenses with the camera body? You are welcome to do so. Please ensure that your lenses are compatible with the system you are testing, natively or via an adapter. If in doubt, let one of our experts guide you. |
| Do I need to book in advance? Yes, we recommend booking your Test Drive in advance to ensure your preferred camera and time slot are available. Book an Expert consultation to enquire. |
| Is the Test Drive free of charge? Leica Store London Mayfair offers complimentary 2-hour Test Drives. The Leica Online Store offers 48-hour Test Drives for a £50 fee, deductible from a qualifying purchase within 3 months. |
| Who can book a Leica Test Drive? Test Drives are currently available to UK residents only. |
| What do I need to bring? You will need: a valid photo ID, Proof of address, and a valid payment card for pre-authorisation. |
| Is a deposit required? A pre-authorisation hold of 50% of the equipment value is required before collection. |
| Can I test the camera with different lenses? Yes, selected lenses may be available depending on the system and location. |
| Can I save photos on my own SD card? Please note that an SD card will not be provided for the Test Drive. We recommend bringing your own SD card so you can save any photos you capture. |
| Can beginners book a Test Drive? Absolutely. Whether you are new to Leica or already familiar with the system, our experts can tailor the experience to your level and interests. |

| How will I receive the camera? Your Test Drive kit can be collected in-store or delivered to your address. |
| What happens if I decide to purchase after the Test Drive? For Leica Online Store bookings, the £50 Test Drive fee can be deducted from your purchase if completed within 3 months. |
| How do I complete the Test Drive? Your Test Drive kit can be dropped off in-store or collected from your home address. A Test Drive is officially completed once all items have been returned and are checked by our staff. |
| Do I need to be insured? We strongly recommend that you consider arranging your own insurance for the duration of the Test Drive. Leica Camera does not provide insurance cover for customer Test Drives, so responsibility for any loss, theft or damage remains with you until the equipment has been safely returned to us. |
