William Klein - Platinum & Silver

Leica Gallery London is currently showing a group of William Klein works from a private collection. The exhibition features the full portfolio of ten Platinum Palladium Prints (mainly focusing on the period 1956–1962) containing some of the most seminal images Klein ever shot for Vogue, including both variations of Nina + Simone, Piazza di Spagna, Rome (Vogue), 1960. To complement this group, the gallery is also showing an oversized gelatin silver print of Red Light + Vespa, Rome 1956, originally shot when Klein was summoned to Rome at the request of Federico Fellini to assist on the film Nights of Cabiria.
