One-to-One Mentoring with Alixandra Fazzina

Whether at the outset of your photographic journey or seeking to advance an established body of work, the Leica Mentorship programme with internationally acclaimed photographer Alixandra Fazzina offers considered, constructive one-to-one mentorship aimed at accelerating your creative development. Each session is carefully tailored to you, ensuring that your time is purposeful, focused, and fully aligned with your individual objectives, helping you to take your photography to the next step, whether through advancing an existing body of work or by helping you to take the first steps to develop your imagery into a cohesive project.

A Bespoke Learning Experience

Ahead of your appointment, Alixandra will carefully review your work, enabling her to provide detailed, personalised feedback. During your session, you will explore ways to strengthen your projects, refine your storytelling, and build confidence in your creative process.

Areas of Focus

Your mentoring can be shaped around any aspect of your photographic practice, such as:

- In-depth image reviews and personalised critiques
- Editing and sequencing projects for portfolios, publications, or exhibitions
- Developing and refining long-term documentary or artistic projects
- Support with proposals, funding applications, and award submissions
- Practical guidance on workflow, archiving, and professional practice in the field
- Strengthening narrative storytelling and shaping a cohesive visual language

Session Details

- Duration: Each class is 2.5 hours long
- Flexibility: Sessions can be scheduled at any point within 12 months of booking

Mentoring sessions are available in-person at our Leica Akademie classroom in Soho, London from 10am to 5pm - Monday to Saturday. 
Online sessions (by Zoom video call) are more flexible and are available at a wider range of times to suit evening classes and to accommodate international time zones. Please enquire before booking to check session availability at akademie.uk@leica-camera.com

Participant Requirements

- A selection of recent images to be used for the purposes of offering feedback and critique
- A short bio describing yourself and what you would like to achieve with your photography
