Leica Gallery Paris

The gallery showcases emerging talents as well as renowned artists while giving a privileged place to contemporary photography. As a brand embodied by personalities and photographers who have contributed to its history, the gallery stands as a witness to both its time and its past. It operates at the rhythm of 5 to 6 exhibitions per year.

Each year, in April, the gallery highlights the work of the guest artist from the INSTANTS residency, created in 2021 by Château Palmer and Leica.
For 2025, the program revolves around Benjamin Deroche, Smith, laureate of the Château Palmer residency, Maria Guțu in July-August, Edouard Elias and Thomas Hoepker in September-October, and finally, Catherine Henriette starting in mid-November.

The Leica Gallery is part of the Leica Store Paris Village Royal, an iconic space dedicated to the renowned camera brand. Within this Parisian boutique, visitors can explore the full range of Leica cameras, discover observation products, and take part in photography workshops offered as part of the Leica Akademie program. A true hub of artistic expression, the gallery brings the Leica world to life by showcasing exhibitions and works that celebrate photography in all its forms.

The Sound of Snow by Catherine Henriette

Leica Gallery Paris presents The Sound of Snow, an exhibition by Catherine Henriette, on view from 28 November 2025 to 28 March 2026. Created in Wakkanai, Japan, at the northern tip of Hokkaidō, the series reveals the austere beauty of a windswept, snow-covered shoreline. In this near-deserted landscape, the photographer captures subtle shifts of light, the hush, the emptiness—inviting us to imagine what the sound of snow might be.
