| What is a Leica Test Drive? Leica Test Drives allow you to reserve hands-on time with a Leica Camera to test its features, feel and characteristics in-depth, simulating real-world conditions and giving you a chance to confirm if it’s the right choice for you. |
| For how long can I test a Leica camera? Test Drives are available the weekend from Leica Store Copenhagen. You can collect your camera on Friday from 12:00 and return it the following Monday by 12:00. |
| Which Leica systems can I test? You can experience selected Leica M EV1, Q3, and SL3 cameras from Leica Store Copenhagen. |
| Do I need to book in advance? Yes, you should book your Test Drive in advance to confirm availability For more information, book a Speak to an Expert consultation to enquire. |
| Is the Test Drive free of charge? Leica Store Copenhagen offers complimentary, in-person 1-hour Test Drives. Weekend Test Drives are available for a 1000 DKK fee, deductible from a qualifying purchase within 3 months. |
| Who can book a Leica Test Drive? Test Drives are currently available to Danish residents only. |
| What do I need to bring? You will need: a valid photo ID, Proof of address, and a valid payment card for pre-authorisation. |
| Is a deposit required? A pre-authorisation hold of 100% of the equipment value is required before collection. |
| Can I test the camera with different lenses? We have the Vario-Elmarit-SL 28-70 f/2.8 ASPH. available to test with the Leica SL3 and the Summicron-M 50 f/2 available to loan with the Leica M EV1. |
| Can I save photos on my own SD card? Of course, you can use your own SD card to take the photos home with you. |
| Can beginners book a Test Drive? Absolutely. Whether you are new to Leica or already familiar with the system, our experts can tailor the experience to your level and interests. |
| I am unsure how to proceed or what to test; can I speak to a Leica expert before booking? Yes, you can book a 1-hour online consultation with a Leica expert for personalised guidance. |
| How will I receive the camera? Your Test Drive kit can be collected from Leica Store Copenhagen. |
| What happens if I decide to purchase after the Test Drive? For all purchases made through Leica Store Copenhagen, the 1000 DKK Test Drive fee can be deducted from your purchase if completed within 3 months. |
| How do I complete the Test Drive? Your Test Drive kit should be dropped off in-store. A Test Drive is officially completed once all items have been returned and are checked by our staff. |
