Dr Ronny Fritsche, COTO at Leica Camera AG, Wetzlar, will leave the company on 15 October 2026 to take up a new professional challenge as CEO of a company outside Leica Camera AG. Against this background, the Supervisory Board and Dr Fritsche have mutually agreed to an early termination of his role on the Executive Board.
The Supervisory Board respects Dr Fritsche’s decision and thanks him for his extraordinary commitment and for the successful and trusting collaboration. During his time on the Executive Board, Dr Fritsche provided important impetus through his experience, professional expertise and personal dedication, and made a significant contribution to the successful further development of Leica Camera AG and the Leica Camera Group.
“We would like to thank Dr Fritsche for his valuable contribution to the further development of Leica Camera AG and for his consistently trusting and close collaboration. We wish him every success and all the best in his new role as CEO, as well as in his future professional and personal endeavours,” stated the Supervisory Board of Leica Camera AG.
