The UVa II filter protects the front lens fromt dirt and scratches. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections even in challenging lighting conditions, this filter includes multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings and greatly improved optic parameters. Thanks to an additional thread, the UVa II filter can even be used in addition to other filters and thus serve as a general protective filter to leave on a lens at all times.
