Fine-tuned by a master
The dual-focus mechanism in the Leica spotting scope is a masterpiece of precision engineering. Two separate focusing systems are installed by hand, enabling fast coarse focusing and precise fine focusing. Each component is adjusted to the millimeter, so that both focus wheels mesh perfectly.
