Unbeaten image brightness

Even in the poorest light conditions, birders and nature lovers need observation optics that deliver bright, color-neutral, realistic, and high-contrast images for the precise identification and documentation of birds and wildlife at long distances. The Leica Televid HD models with 65-mm and 82-mm objective lenses achieve this with their proven optics and the new High Lux Pro (HLP™) system that simultaneously delivers higher image brightness and increased contrast. The Televid HD spotting scopes also offer a large field of view across the entire magnification range, allowing observers to find birds and wildlife and to properly recognize their surroundings. The modern design, with precise dual focus for quick and easy coarse and fine adjustment, promises fascinating moments in nature. A new feature is the integrated mounting base, which can no longer go missing. It is tailored to the leading tripods from ARCA-SWISS and Manfrotto.

Intuitive use

With the innovative dual focus, for coarse and fine adjustment, details can be focused with greater ease, speed, and precision. The front focusing wheel is used for fine adjustment, while the larger one at rear is used for general, rapid focusing. From tiny insects at close range, starting at 2.9 meters, to birds at greatest distances, the Leica dual focus enables the most detailed observation and documentation of wildlife in the finest resolution and remarkable sharpness.

When close isn’t enough

With the optionally available Leica extender 1.8x, birders and nature observers can get even closer to special moments and recognize details over the greatest distances. Using the Leica extender 1.8x increases the magnification range of the Televid HD models by a factor of 1.8. In combination with the Leica eyepiece, magnifications of up to 108x are possible – for outstanding observation of details at maximum distances.
