How to Zine - layout, print, bind

In this workshop, you will design your own zine from the initial idea to the finished booklet.

You will learn how to lay out images effectively and prepare them for printing.

Together, we will look at different printing techniques and types of paper.

You will then print your zine yourself and get a feel for the entire printing process.

In the practical part, Anna von Frey, an experienced bookbinder and workshop leader, will show you various binding techniques.

Step by step, you will bind your own zine by hand.

Michael Exner will support the workshop with his extensive knowledge of printing and production.

The workshop is aimed at beginners as well as designers with previous experience.
