How to Zine - layout, print, bind

In collaboration with the Rotlicht Festival for Analog Photography.

In this workshop, you'll design your own zine from the first idea to the finished booklet.
You'll learn how to lay out images effectively and prepare them for print.
A graphic designer will support you in professionally laying out your zine.
Together, we'll explore different printing techniques and paper types.
You'll then print your zine yourself and get a feel for the entire print process.
In the hands-on part, Anna von Frey, an experienced bookbinder and workshop leader, will show you various binding techniques.
Step by step, you'll bind your own zine by hand.
The workshop is aimed at beginners as well as experienced designers.
By the end, you'll be holding a self-designed and hand-bound zine in your hands.
