"Although the journey along the N-VI was between A Coruña and Madrid, in my mind I had no defined starting point or destination; I was simply looking to find a space-time bubble within the journey to continue a dialogue with myself that began years ago and evolves with life.
My intention was not to document, but to convey my experience through images that represent my feelings."

About Andrea Ratto
Andrea Ratto, born in Genoa (Italy) in 1976, has lived in A Coruña (Spain) since 2005. He began taking photographs as a child. His camera has accompanied him on trips around the world and in recent years he has been drawn to street and documentary photography. In 2017, he travelled the streets of 26 European countries with his camera on a completely independent trip. His purpose was to answer two questions: Does European society as a whole exist? And if so, how does it work?
