Leica Trade-In allows you to exchange eligible camera equipment toward the purchase of a new Leica product through participating Leica Stores and authorised dealers.
Which products are eligible for Trade-In?
Selected Leica cameras, lenses and accessories may qualify for Trade-In. Some markets may also accept selected third-party products. Eligibility is not guaranteed and may change over time depending on market factors.
How is the Trade-In value determined?
Equipment is individually assessed based on several factors, including condition, age and current market value.
Can I exchange for cash?
Yes, direct buy-ins are available in certain markets. Buy-in valuations may differ from those of Trade-Ins. 
Can I upgrade to a different Leica system?
Yes. Leica Trade-In supports upgrades and transitions between Leica systems, depending on your photographic needs.
Can I receive an estimate before handing in my gear for full evaluation?
Most locations offer an initial estimate based on product details and condition. Please click on “Start Trade-In” and fill in the form, book an appointment, or contact a Leica Store.
What condition does my equipment need to be in?
Minimum grading may vary from partial defects to some signs of wear. If unsure, get in touch with us by booking an appointment or visiting one of our Stores.
Can vintage Leica products be traded in?
Certain Leica products pre-dating 1984 are classified as Vintage. Selected vintage Leica products may qualify for Trade-In depending on the market and participating store.
