The specially designed viewfinder for 18 mm M lenses provide a remarkably vibrant, high-contrast image. It allows for a precise and comfortable composition. Due to a concave mirror in the optics part of the incoming light is used to illuminate the picture outline as a bright frame and precisely define the image section.
