A Journey Through Contemporary America
The world is a stage where remarkable scenes can unfold at any moment. Craig Semetko has the rare ability to capture such stories in a single frame. In his new photo book, the American photographer takes us on a personal journey through his homeland. “America Unposed” is a humorous declaration of love that celebrates the country while leaving room for critical undertones.
Craig Semetko is a great observer and a wonderful storyteller. His pictures are a delight and a treasure trove of atmospheric imagery.

About the Book
Craig Semetko’s photographic instinct is distinctive – a quality he once again demonstrates in his new photo book. In the finely produced volume “America Unposed”, he presents a collection of photographs across 96 pages and 67 images, bringing together beauty and turmoil, the banal and the extraordinary, the humorous and the serious. A foreword by Karin Rehn-Kaufmann and an interview with Tom A. Smith complement the volume.
The book has been available worldwide since March 2026 at Leica Stores, in the Leica Online Store and through authorised dealers.
