Leica Gallery Barcelona is located at Carrer de Provença 253, in the heart of the Eixample district, just a few steps from Passeig de Gràcia and some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Set in a city with a rich photographic and cultural tradition, the Gallery presents a diverse programme of photography, bringing together internationally established photographers with Spanish and local voices, as well as emerging talents.

Through its exhibitions and programme of talks, guided tours, book signings and other activities, Leica Gallery Barcelona aims to become a meeting point for the photographic community and a space for discovering and engaging with photography in the city.

This first selection of photographs exhibited brings together different perspectives and approaches to photography, creating a dialogue between authors and visual languages.

A pluralistic approach to the image that marks the beginning of the programme at Leica Gallery Barcelona and anticipates the mission of this new space: to become a place for encounter, discovery and reflection around contemporary photography.
