The Leica Gallery Frankfurt presents the group exhibition “Frankfurt Music City”, opening as part of Gallery Weekend Frankfurt. This collaborative project with Stefan Dabruck Management, the City of Frankfurt, and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ) shines a spotlight on a city whose significance to pop and music culture is often less visible than it actually is.

For “Frankfurt Music City”, emerging photographers have portrayed influential figures from Frankfurt’s music scene. The resulting images were created at locations closely tied to the city’s identity, ranging from traditional apple wine taverns to the stadium. Together, the exhibition offers a multifaceted portrait of a music city shaped by clubs, recording studios, venues, producers, musicians, supporters, and networkers.

A high-quality photo book has been specially produced to accompany the exhibition and is available for purchase at the gallery. In addition, guided tours including exclusive access to the archive will be offered for the first time.
