Construction-details-Linsenschnitt

An optical masterpiece.

With its intricate design, special glass types and high-precision craftsmanship, the APO-Summicron-M 35 f/2 ASPH. ranks among Leica’s most elaborately constructed lenses. The result: a close-to flawless imaging performance. Three of the ten lens elements (divided into five groups) feature aspherical surfaces – one of them on both sides. In addition, the new M lens renders images with practically no chromatic aberration, thanks to apochromatic correction – a rare quality in lenses of this focal length.

The specially designed lens hood, in combination with highly effective anti-reflective coatings, make the APO-Summicron-M 35 f/2 ASPH. virtually impervious to stray light and glare.
