Throughout his career, Peter Turnley has photographed some of the most significant political and social events of our time. His work has taken him to the fall of the Berlin Wall, the protests in Tiananmen Square, the Gulf War, and conflicts in the Balkans and Haiti. His photographs have appeared on more than 40 covers of Newsweek magazine.
During his talk, Peter Turnley will share personal insights into his photographic work and the stories behind his images. A particular focus will be his enduring connection to Paris and his passion for street photography. His work is characterised by a deeply humanistic approach, capturing authentic encounters and meaningful moments in everyday life.
The presentation will be followed by a personal interview and Q&A, offering guests the opportunity to engage directly with Peter Turnley and ask questions about his work, experiences, and approach to photography.
