Steve McCurry is one of the most iconic photographers. As the earliest tester, he put the new Leica SL2 at work in China.

I transitioned about 15 years ago from film to digital, and now to transition to mirrorless cameras, because I think that's the future.

Many of my friends, since I started photography 45 years ago, have used Leica cameras, and I've always been intrigued by the quality. It seemed now like the perfect time to choose it myself. 
I actually have tested the SL with other cameras, and to me there was no comparison,
the quality is unparalleled.

The really great German manufacturing, and the simplicity of the system, how you operate the buttons and the menu. Everything seemed really logical and very simple to use. But the main reason really was this incredible, unbelievable picture quality, you really have to see it to believe it!

To me, I owed to my art, to my photography to use the best equipment and this in my view is, it doesn't get any better than this, especially because of these incredible lenses, I don't think there are better lens in the world.
