Leica Oskar Barnack Award - Women’s Perspectives

Giving visual expression to the relationship between humanity and the environment, this is the guiding principle that has defined the Leica Oskar Barnack Award; a principle clearly reflected in the competion’s history and the winning series over the past forty years. The LOBA is strongly directed at photographers with a keen talent for observation and for vividly expressing humanitarism, as well as the relationship between humanity and environment.” The Leica Gallery Vienna presents “Women on the Frontline of Climate Change” von Lynsey Addario (Finalist, 2022), “Land of the Sea” von Irene Barlian (Finalist, 2022) and “Standing on the Edge” von Ranita Roy (Finalist, 2021).
