The Leica Women Foto Project Summit in collaboration with Women Street Photographers is a three-day event taking place from April 14-16, 2023 at ArtSpace on E99th Street. The summit will kick off with an opening reception featuring an exhibition curated by Gulnara Samoilova, founder of Women Street Photographers. The exhibition will showcase the works of street photographers, photo journalists, and the works of a Leica Women Foto Project grant winner on a dedicated wall.

The summit is designed to unlock new opportunities for photographers and help them prioritize and monetize their passion. The event will feature panel discussions, conversations, and photo walks with industry leaders, providing attendees with a unique learning experience.

Women Street Photographers is an online and in-person community that supports and amplifies the work of women artists from all races, ethnicities, creeds, generations, abilities, sexual and gender identities around the world today. The community aims to expand commonly held notions of street photography by adopting an inclusive, expansive, non-traditional approach, providing platforms to showcase the work of both amateur and professional photographers.
